- As a small publisher,
Celtic Cat Publishing generally publishes
one title per year and plans at least 12 months in advance. Primarily,
we are interested in poetry and novels. However, we are not interested
in formulaic genre novels: Sci-Fi, Horror, Romance etc.
- Please do not send a complete
script in the first instance. For fiction, provide a brief, one-page
synopsis of the manuscript and two or three sample chapters. For poetry,
provide six to ten poems. If we are interested, we will ask to see
additional material.
- All submissions should
be typed/printed on white 8.5 X 11 paper. Prose should be double-spaced.
- Include a short cover
letter providing relevant information about you as a writer - have you been
published before? Have you won any writing prizes? Who is the audience?
Identify target completion date and word count/number of pages.
- Please enclose a self-addressed
envelope large enough to contain your material and with adequate return postage.
- Please include your name
and address on the first page of your material and on your cover letter.
